Right to be Forgotten – LPM

The Right to be Forgotten is a critical component of reputation management in the digital environment, where collective memory is, by nature, permanent.

This right, enshrined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), reinforces individuals’ autonomy over their digital identity and ensures that information available online does not compromise their reputation or privacy. This service aims to mitigate the impact of outdated, irrelevant or harmful information that persists online and unfairly affects the image of the Client or its leaders.

LPM supports its clients in managing their digital reputation and in the practical application of the Right to be Forgotten through specific actions:

  • Analysis and Diagnosis: We carry out a detailed mapping of online content that, despite having been legally published in the past, is now considered obsolete or inappropriate to the current public interest.
  • Order Management and Assistance: We advise the Client on the preparation and management of requests for the removal of links or de-indexing of results from search engines, based on the criteria established by data protection legislation.
  • Online Reputation Management (ORM): We complement this action with communication strategies that allow us to present credible, objective and up-to-date information.
